I am writing to ask you to join me and other
conservative state leaders in supporting
Sue Everhart for Chairman of
the Georgia Republican Party at the GOP State Convention,
May 18-19, 2007. In order to become a delegate to the
county, district and state conventions and to be eligible to vote for
Sue at the state convention, you must first go to the mass precinct
meeting in your county which will take place on Saturday,
February 24, 2007. Check with your county GOP chairman to find out the time your
meeting will begin.
Sue, the Christian Coalition of Georgia
Volunteer of the Year in 2006, has been an invaluable supporter
of the conservative Christian and pro-life movement in
Georgia for the past 25 years. She
has worked tirelessly to help elect candidates who support our values.
Sue is the most qualified candidate in the race for
Party Chairman. She is the current First Vice-Chair of the
Georgia Republican Party and a long-time Republican Party
leader and grassroots activist. She has worked on
dozens of local, state and national campaigns and been named
Volunteer of the Year by both the National and Georgia Republican
Parties. She has also served in various other capacities in
the party including Sixth District Chairman.
Sue is a tireless organizer, believes strongly in
developing and maintaining a grassroots organization, and has
outstanding political instincts and in-depth knowledge of the Republican
Party organization and the candidates and volunteers in the state. She
will be a great Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, and I am
looking forward to working with her in that position.
