Dear Friends,

Due to a change of direction taken by the Christian Coalition of America, the Georgia organization has decided to disaffiliate with them and change our name to the Georgia Christian Alliance. This decision was not made lightly but we believe it necessary to preserve the original mission of our organization and to continue to promote the basic tenets of our worldview.

I have posted an article that will give you a better understanding of our reasons for making this move.

It has been my privilege to serve as the State Chairman of the Christian Coalition of Georgia for almost 10 years. I look forward to continuing on in the same capacity with the new organization for - Lord willing - another 10 years!

Thanks to all who have been faithful to support our work, and we look forward to a continued relationship with each of you as we continue on in our mission to promote a Biblical worldview in our state and national government and in our culture.

The Georgia Christian Alliance will have voter guides for the November 7, 2006 general election ready for distribution in a week or so. If you are interested in receiving a voter guide or a number of voter guides to distribute in your area, please let our office know. The voter guides will contain all statewide races as well as some senate and house races. You can go online to sign up for the voter guides or you can email me at sadie@gachristianalliance.org to let us know how many you need.
